Nueva lija de grano ultrafino para pulir tu cerámica

New Ultra-Fine Grit Sanding Sheed for Polishing Your Ceramics

New Ultra-Fine Grit Hook-and-Loop Abrasive Sheet for Ceramic Polishing

Many of you had been asking us for an even finer grit to give high-fired ceramics, glaze, and similar surfaces that final sanding or polishing touch.

For most imperfections, the two diamond sanding sheets we already had — coarse sanding and polishing — were enough. With this new development, we are completing the range.

In the following diagram, you can see where our new development fits within the range:

At the top, we have our coarse-grit sanding sheet for heavier material removal. Then comes our polishing sheet. And finally, this new sheet has the finest grit in our range. It does not remove much material with each pass, but it leaves an excellent finish.

That is why some ceramicists like to combine several sanding sheets: first a coarse grit to remove more material per pass, and then a finer grit to gradually improve the surface finish.

Remember that all our sanding sheets have a hook-and-loop backing on the rear side.

On the one hand, this makes them softer to the touch, so they can be used directly with your fingers. On the other hand, it also allows them to be attached to our sanding block, thanks to the hook-and-loop system on the block.

We also wanted to answer some of the questions you sent us through the website forms. Although these sanding sheets have been developed for handmade ceramics, they are made with high-quality diamond, so they also work very well on industrial ceramics such as tiles and general construction ceramics, including porcelain stoneware, glazed stoneware, ceramic tiles, and even materials such as clinker.

Finally, we also have a pack with the three diamond sanding sheets together.

We hope this post has helped clear up some of your doubts. If not, just write to us with any questions and we will try to reply as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support.
