-tAt-developed extra coating for pottery: The image above also shows the copper-colored protective coating, specifically developed for working with clay. We are the first to introduce this technology to the ceramics industry.

Clay may seem like a soft material, but it is actually highly demanding on the cutting edge: it is both abrasive and prone to sticking to the blade. This coating addresses both challenges.

The product includes a custom soft case for convenient storage of the tool. The case is marked with the model name so you know which tool goes inside, for efficient use in the workshop:

FAQ:

-Will it work with porcelain?
Yes. The stainless blade cuts smoothly through high-plasticity porcelain bodies.

-How do I clean it?
Rinse under warm water; use a brush if clay builds up, then dry it before storing it.

TIPS for making clay handles easier:

-Wet the blade of the tool in water before using it, as this will help it glide more smoothly and make the process easier.

-After cutting the clay strip, do I pull it out of the lump with my nails or fingers? You can, but the tool is intentionally designed with a flat, shaped end on the back of the handle. This makes it easier to lift and remove the strip, especially when it is sticking to the clay.
